SHIRLEY BISHOP

GLASS ARTIST

Shirley’s fascination with glass began at a very young age, but took center stage in 2013 when she discovered the art of glass fusing. What started as a hobby soon evolved into a passionate pursuit, leading Shirley to establish a small business that now occupies all of her time in retirement.

‘Studio 13 Glass Art’ is not just a name. The meaning behind Studio 13 stems from a deeply personal experience. In 2013, Shirley’s beloved brother, with whom she shared a passion for glass, succumbed to ALS. His memory and their shared love for this art form became the driving force behind Shirley’s decision to incorporate 'Studio 13' into her business name.

Nestled within the serene landscape of Washougal, Washington, Studio 13 Glass Art is more than just a studio; it's a sanctuary where creativity thrives. Here, Shirley channels her love for glass into intricate works of art, inviting visitors to experience the beauty and emotion infused into every piece.
