Catherine is inspired by music, beautiful settings, loving acts of kindness, and extraordinary courage. She loves the process of creating in color and the unusual
outcomes that often surprise her. Catherine works in both pastel and acrylic paints.
 

Catherine spent 30+ years as technical service manager in the field of diagnostic imaging manufacturing. She received her MBA from Pepperdine in 1986. She has
always aspired to be the best and became the first female Vice President of an OEM company in 2006. She retired in 2009 to devote her life to creating art. She has a
passion for color and loves to experiment with both pastels and fluid acrylic painting.
 

Soon after retirement, Catherine attended a local art school to learn the basics of drawing. She then started with pastel as a medium, because of its intensity of color.
She quickly became a member of an art gallery in Vancouver and was mentored by several pastel artists throughout the Northwest. Her pastel work has garnered many first place awards in regional shows.
 

Catherine continues embraces the learning process. When "Covid Blues" set in, she decided to try acrylic fluid art and has enjoyed challenging herself in abstract, with color as her guiding light. Her work has been designated as a "Trusted Art Seller" with The Art Storefronts Organization.
